About the project: I interviewed Allysia, the Head of Boarding at Ascham School in Edgecliff, Sydney, about her 20 years of volunteering for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT as a Puppy Raiser. Her amazing story was part of a collection of articles I wrote for National Volunteer Week in 2025. The article appeared on the Guide Dogs website, in social posts, and various email publications.

A cut-down version of this article was also included in our first edition of Guide Dogs Magazine, which appeared as a lift-out in the Sun Herald on 10 August 2025. It was later republished in the holiday edition of Guide Dogs Magazine, which was distributed as an insert in The Sunday Telegraph.
